With our focus towards green and renewable energy environment, there’s no doubt you will hear advices from us to consider LED lighting for your home, offices or commercial buildings. It is also a cost saving solution, due to lower energy consumption and longer life time so you don’t need to replace them frequently.

LED, or light-emitting diode, is a two lead semiconductor light source. The diode emits light when a suitable voltage is applied to the leads. There many LED applications you can see around us everyday.

These are some of the biggest advantages of LEDs:

  • Efficiency: LEDs emit more lumens per watt than incandescent light bulbs, in other words, LEDs are brighter while using less wattage than incandescent lights, so you are saving more in energy consumption.
  • Fast warm up time: LEDs light up very quickly
  • Easily dimmed: LEDs can be dimmed easily, provided the dimmer is compatible with the lights, since different manufactures have different standards and compatibility for their products.
  • Long lifetime: LEDs can provide you approximately 35,000 to 50,000 hours of use. Overtime however, LEDs do experience lumen depreciation, where the amount of light emitted decreases and light colour changes.
  • Directional light source: LEDs emit light in specific direction, and radiate very little heat. This is good for any applications that require directional lighting (ie: pictures, statues, etc)

We follow LED technology closely, and keep up to date with the latest LED products. If you like the look of traditional light bulb, you can get it with LED light. Since LEDs are small, they also allow for beautiful and unique design of light fixtures that shine through the material, providing a modern look and great lighting ambiance.
